My Therapeutic Approach revolves around Transactional Analysis (TA).  TA explores an individuals personality and how this has been shaped by their experiences, particularly those in childhood and how that interacts with the personalities of others in your life. This type of therapy aims to be non-judgmental, secure and respectful; where the relationship between the therapist and the client(s) is at the heart of the work.

As a Relational Therapist, I will work to understand your unique self-experience. Together, we will work on creating a new in-depth relationship, which aims to be supportive, strengthening and enlivening. Transactional Analysis Therapy is suitable for both long and short-term counselling with both individuals and couples. Part of the appeal of TA therapy is that it promotes an equal relationship between client and therapist, in which the client is focused on their commitment to change.

I work a lot with couples having trained with Mark Widdowson and bring the same level of empathy and compassion as well as behavioural techniques for change with the couples I work with.

I believe that therapy can help people to recognise their self-worth in order to achieve their full potential. I have always believed that mental health is as important as physical health and needs to be nurtured.
