Are you feeling anxious and stressed? Stuck or overwhelmed? Dealing with the same relationship dynamics over and over again? Struggling with over-thinking, feeling unseen or misunderstood?  Are you a people pleaser who wants to break the chains of self-doubt and overthinking? I specialise in working with motivated, insightful clients who want to better understand how their past has impacted them and to find new ways of being and relating.

My goal is to help you feel more in control of your feelings and able to cope. I offer exploratory but compassionate therapy to heal you from the inside out. My integrative training enables me to use a holistic and wide-reaching approach that tailors the therapy to each client and find the best path to help you feel more in control of your own feelings, and with a better ability to cope. Sometimes this can feel difficult and painful so, in confidence, we will work together at a pace, and for a period of time, that is manageable for you.

I have a wealth of counselling experience in different settings, using both short term and long term models. I am trained in several different theories and therapeutic modalities, including humanistic and psychodynamic approaches and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). I also work in an NHS setting so operate within a strict ethical code as well as within the ethical framework of the BACP. I am committed to creating a safe inclusive and supportive environment for everyone.

I came to counselling after a career in law, so I have a particular understanding of the stresses of professional life and can help with the anxiety, overwhelm and even dread that a high pressure job can create. I also have a specialist interest in the psychological impact of the boarding school experience and have conducted research into this area.

If any of this resonates I would love to hear from you. I offer a free, no pressure 15 minute consultation over the phone so see if you think we could work together, and we can take it from there. along.

Please feel free to contact me for any queries or clarifications.
